Overview
What We Provide
InsideWork Private Case Management operates as a subdivision of InsideWork Companies, offering individual case management and accountability services for adults who are not in residential treatment and do not require clinical intervention.
We provide structured coordination between clients, families, and existing care providers. Our role is oversight, follow-through, and clear communication—not therapy, not medical care, and not rehabilitation. We work with individuals who are maintaining employment or education but need consistent accountability and professional coordination.
This service functions similarly to a family office or private banking relationship: discreet, structured, and built on established authority and trust. Families engage us when they need someone outside the emotional dynamic to ensure compliance, track progress, and reduce the frequency of crisis.
Services
What We Do
Our work centers on coordination, accountability, and structured oversight. Each engagement is tailored to the individual's circumstances, but all services are designed to reduce chaos and establish consistent follow-through.
Care Coordination
We maintain communication with therapists, psychiatrists, treatment programs, sober living facilities, and pharmacies—always with proper consent and releases of information in place.
Accountability Systems
We implement and monitor alcohol and drug testing protocols, ensuring results are tracked, documented, and shared appropriately with families and providers.
Financial Oversight
We coordinate structured financial distribution using prepaid debit solutions and other mechanisms that provide transparency without removing autonomy entirely.
Scheduling & Compliance
We track appointments, medication adherence, program attendance, and other commitments—ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Escalation Protocols
We establish clear step-up and step-down processes in advance, so everyone understands what happens if compliance falters or progress accelerates.
Clientele
Who This Is For
Our services are designed for specific situations where traditional treatment models do not fit, or where families need professional coordination without becoming the primary enforcer.
Adults Not in Residential Treatment
Individuals living independently or in supported environments who do not require 24-hour clinical care.
Individuals Maintaining Work or School
Those who are employed, enrolled in education, or otherwise engaged in daily life but need structured accountability.
Families Who Do Not Want to Be the Enforcer
Parents, spouses, or partners who recognize that their involvement in oversight creates conflict or undermines trust.
Situations Where Rehab Is Not Appropriate
Cases where residential treatment is not possible, not desired, or not clinically necessary—but accountability is still required.
Families Seeking Accountability Without Chaos
Those who want calm, consistent oversight instead of reactive crisis management.
Approach
How Engagements Work
InsideWork Private Case Management operates on a retainer basis, not hourly billing. The intensity and structure of each engagement varies depending on the individual's needs, the family's concerns, and the current level of stability.
Variable Intensity
Some cases require daily check-ins and close coordination. Others involve weekly oversight and periodic reporting. The level of involvement is determined by the situation, not a fixed service model.
Over time, successful engagements typically become less intensive. As patterns stabilize and trust builds, the frequency of contact decreases. The goal is not perpetual involvement—it is to establish sustainable accountability.
Authority and Structure
Effective case management requires clear authority. We establish expectations, consequences, and escalation protocols upfront—not in the middle of a crisis. Families and clients agree to the structure before services begin.
Consistency matters more than constant intervention. Calm oversight, clear boundaries, and predictable follow-through reduce the likelihood of escalation. This is not therapy. It is coordination, pattern recognition, and accountability.
The Role of Calm Oversight
Crisis frequency decreases when accountability is consistent and non-reactive. Families often find themselves in a pattern of emergency response: testing is missed, appointments are skipped, and intervention happens only when something goes wrong.
Our role is to interrupt that pattern. We monitor, document, and communicate regularly—so small issues are addressed before they become large ones. When escalation is necessary, it follows a pre-established protocol rather than an emotional reaction.

This is private coordination, not clinical care. We work with existing providers and family systems to ensure follow-through and reduce chaos. Our authority comes from structure, not from therapy or medical expertise.
Background
About InsideWork Private Case Management
InsideWork Private Case Management was founded by Alex Soady, drawing on more than two decades of experience in operations and coordination within complex, high-pressure organizational environments, combined with extensive real-world exposure to recovery systems and structured accountability.
Alex’s background includes firsthand experience across detox, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization, outpatient therapy, sober living environments, testing protocols, and medication oversight. This perspective informs how InsideWork operates in practice, not in theory. We understand how these systems are designed to work, where they commonly break down, and what is required to keep them functioning outside of institutional settings.
The work is grounded in pattern recognition, calm decision-making under pressure, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders without escalating conflict. InsideWork does not rely on inspirational language or performative credentials. Instead, the focus is on consistency, structure, and remaining steady when situations are emotionally charged or unpredictable.
Alex is a Substance Use Disorder Registered Counselor (SUDRC) and has extensive lived and operational experience. This combination allows InsideWork to function as a stabilizing, coordinating presence for families and individuals who need accountability and clarity without added chaos.
InsideWork Private Case Management is not a counseling or medical practice. It is a private service designed to support coordination, oversight, and accountability in real-world recovery and responsibility management.

This is not a counseling practice. It is a private service designed for families and individuals who need professional coordination and accountability without the structure of residential treatment or the emotional complexity of family enforcement.
Structure, Not Intervention
01
Initial Assessment
We review the current situation, existing providers, family concerns, and the individual's level of engagement. This establishes baseline expectations and clarifies what accountability will look like.
02
Protocol Development
We create a clear plan that outlines testing schedules, provider communication, financial structures, and escalation procedures. Everyone involved understands what compliance means and what happens if it falters.
03
Ongoing Coordination
We maintain consistent communication with the individual, family, and care team. We document progress, address small issues before they grow, and ensure follow-through on commitments.
04
Adaptation Over Time
As stability increases, oversight decreases. As challenges arise, intensity adjusts. The structure remains consistent, but the frequency and focus shift based on real-time patterns and progress.
Why Families Choose Private Case Management
Neutral Authority
Parents and spouses often find that their involvement in enforcement creates conflict. A third party can hold boundaries without damaging relationships.
Consistent Follow-Through
Testing, appointments, and financial structures require consistent oversight. Families cannot always provide that level of attention, and inconsistency undermines accountability.
Professional Coordination
Managing communication between multiple providers, family members, and the individual requires time and organizational skill. We handle that coordination so families do not have to.
Reduced Crisis Frequency
When oversight is steady and non-reactive, small issues are addressed before they escalate. Families spend less time managing emergencies and more time supporting progress.
Retainer-Based Clarity
Our services operate on a retainer model, not hourly billing. Families know what to expect financially, and we adjust intensity based on need—not on maximizing billable hours.
